WANDAVISION came to an end within the week and also gave some major hints to what is going to come next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a hidden clue pointing at Doctor Strange 2, within the Multiverse of Madness.

The Disney Plus show WandaVision was delivered to a satisfying end in the week. The ultimate emotional scenes showed Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) being forced to offer up her family to save lots of the residents of Westview.

After bringing down her hex magic, Wanda’s husband Vision (Paul Bettany) and her children Billy (Julian Hilliard) and Tommy (Jett Klyne) evaporated along side the remainder of her illusions. She did come away with a replacement powerful tool, however.

The second post-credit scene of the series finale revealed Wanda had escaped to a foreign location where she lived during a cabin within the mountains.

As the camera revealed more of Wanda’s dwelling, the witch was shown floating in her bedroom flipping through the pages of the Book of the Damned, Darkhold, using her mind.

Although this was certainly an astonishing sight to behold, the scene actually gave tons of clues towards what's getting to happen next within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

First of all, it's important to notice that an identical position of meditation was held by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) during Avengers Infinity War, as seen below.

During Infinity War the Sorcerer Supreme looked into multiple versions of the longer term using the Time Stone to work out which one among the timelines the Avengers could triumph against the titan, Thanos (Josh Brolin).

What’s more, the ultimate seconds of WandaVision revealed Wanda could hear her sons crying bent her for help.

The final piece of data WandaVision provided was the Doctor Strange theme song being played over her magical studying.

It has long been rumoured that Wanda will appear within the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel within the Multiverse of Madness and earlier within the week Olsen confirmed her appearance in the movie.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon about appearing in Doctor Strange 2, Olsen revealed: “[WandaVision] may be a complete tee-up for my character.”

At the instant the sole thing known about Doctor Strange 2 is that it'll involve the multiverse - multiple versions of the Marvel universe complete with different versions of an equivalent characters.

The best known example of multiverses occurring within the Marvel universe is in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse.

Wanda seems like she is peering through the various universes trying to find her sons during a desperate attempt.

With Billy and Tommy literally calling bent her for help, Multiverse of Madness will presumably bring Wanda along side Doctor Strange to seek out her children in an alternate timeline and claim them for herself.

If she fails, however, she may instead start the horrific House of M storyline.

Wanda’s biggest magazine arc is that the House of M, which involved her eradicating the mutants from existence after failing to save lots of her children.

Considering the mutants aren't within the MCU at the instant, it stands to reason that she is going to perform a reverse House of M - creating the gene rather than destroying it.

The likes of the superb Four and therefore the X-Men have already been confirmed to be arriving within the MCU within the coming years, so Scarlet Witch’s new found powers may cause their arrival.

This theory is protected further by the very fact that Wanda has already created one superpowered human: Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

After being subjected to Wanda’s hex powers twice during a short space of her time, Monica showed off some newfound superpowers.

The finale revealed she couldn't only stop bullets, but allow them to undergo her.

With the primary post-credit scene teasing her team-up with Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), she is on her due to becoming the primary new Avenger after the Blip.
