Manchester United may need to look elsewhere if the newest reports on Harry Kane are to be believed.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy won't sell Harry Kane to a different Premier League club, consistent with reports. Manchester United are long-term admirers of Kane and are within the marketplace for a striker. Manchester City also are linked with the England captain as they start to plan for all times without Sergio Aguero.
Kane still has over three years remaining on his Spurs contract.
However, the 27-year-old was non-committal over his future last week when asked if he would wish to go away the north London club so as to win major silverware.
Kane is yet to win a trophy in his career, with Spurs last tasting success therein regard in 2008.
Despite remaining loyal to Tottenham, Kane has not hidden the thought that moving to a different club at some point would appeal to him.
But the Manchester Evening News claim Spurs won't allow their talisman to maneuver to a team in England.
Senior figures at Tottenham say there's 'no chance' of a transfer to either United or City.
Barcelona are linked with Kane in recent days, though the report says the financial situation at the Nou Camp about rules them out.
The two Manchester clubs also are curious about Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland, but are set to face strong competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Barca and Chelsea.
Kane is that the joint-top goalscorer within the Premier League this season, with 17 goals to his name.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has an equivalent view that it's unlikely for Kane to go away Spurs this summer.
And he says discussions over an extension to his contract is on the horizon.
“I think it’s difficult to ascertain Harry Kane out of Tottenham," Romano told GiveMeSport.
"I know what he said within the last interviews and clearly we are in March so at the instant there's nothing advanced, but what I’m told is that Tottenham are planning with Harry Kane as a part of the team.
“They want to debate about his accept the approaching months and let’s see once they will plan to roll in the hay but they’re planning with him so at the instant there's nothing advanced with other clubs and they’re proud of Harry Kane so let’s see what he will decide.
“And remember that it’s really, really difficult always to barter with Daniel Levy when we’re talking about normal players or small players, not for a top, top player like Harry Kane.
“I think it'll be really difficult to ascertain Harry Kane out of Tottenham this summer.”
