Gregg Wallace has opened about his favourite fitness advice following his four stone weight loss. In conjunction together with his new show, Gregg Wallace's Big Weekends Away, he has also shared a number of his favourite ways to remain healthy when travelling. 

The Master Chef judge has been giving Britons holiday inspiration for when coronavirus travel restrictions are lifted.

In Gregg Wallace's Big Weekend Away, which was filmed before the coronavirus lockdown, the TV personality visited stunning locations including Rome, York and Edinburgh.

In the latest episode, which airs tonight, Gregg are often seen visiting the sites of the Scottish capital and sampling the local cuisine.

Not only is Gregg hooked in to food and history - calling himself an "amateur historian" - he has opened about his love of fitness in recent years.

The TV favourite has showcased his incredible transformation by sharing pictures on his social media accounts.

He regularly updates fans together with his workout routine and best fitness advice.


In his latest series, Gregg travelled across the World to enjoy various city breaks and tried his hand at making local cuisine. 

How did he manage to remain fit while doing this? 

Speaking to Chudonnews, the MasterChef judge stated eating treats are some things he does carefully .

"I don't roll in the hay all the time," Gregg explained. "And let me tell you, if you walk tons, you burn off the calories.

"If you're walking around all day, you'll afford to be a touch bit naughty."

The TV chef will often provides a glimpse of his workouts online and recently launched the web fitness service, ShowMe.Fit.

Detailing the programme on Instagram, he wrote: "I’m helping numerous people to reduce.

"I just show you ways I did it - changing bad habits permanently ones gradually - it’s okay to stumble - you continue to get there, being good most of the time is sweet enough!"

Those who check in for the programme get access to healthy recipes and live workouts with Gregg himself.

The television favourite has been open about his transformation and previously revealed he had shed a staggering four stone.

Whether reception or abroad, Gregg explained exercising everyday may be a top priority of his.

"I still exercise a day. I just feel sluggish if i do not," he continued.

"[When abroad] I normally rise up, I put my gym kit on, find a quiet space within the hotel and exercise.

"A nice thing to try to do if you would like to mix fitness with sightseeing is to urge up within the morning, leave and jog for 2 minutes then walk for 2 minutes. You'll cover miles and miles."

In tonight's episode, Gregg are going to be seen as he spends three days in Edinburgh.

He visited the Royal Mile and learned about Scottish cuisine with chef Tom Kitchen.

Gregg added: "It wasn’t my first visit to the fine City of Edinburgh, I even have visited a couple of times before.

"In fact, I’m up every few years for the rugby but it had been the primary time I've ever worn a kilt. It did look smart and it had been incredibly comfortable."
